Dariusz Wojdyga

Collector

12 March - 3 May 2026

Dariusz Wojdyga is a multidisciplinary artist primarily focused on jewelry art, where he seamlessly merges craftsmanship, performance, eco-activism, sustainability, and collectivism into an integrated creative practice. He works at the intersection of conceptual ideas and material-based processes, using wearable forms and collaborative projects to explore art as a tool for social engagement. He actively seeks pathways toward a sustainable artistic practice in a world where technological advancement and consumerism reduce the role of craftsmanship, overconsume energy and natural resources, and has a negative impact on the environment.

“Collector” is an exhibition that explores material value, consumption, and human’s relationship with nature. The project is rooted in the very act of collecting: finding, preserving, and giving new meaning to materials that have lost both economic and symbolic value. Most of the materials are sourced from nature or from urban environments — rivers, forests and woodlands, coastlines, and waste containers. “Collector” reflects on responsibility, overconsumption, and the possibility of transforming what has been discarded.
