A group exhibition with fifteen jewelry artists from Sweden, Denmark and Norway, organized in collaboration between Platina Stockholm - curator Sofia Björkman, Format Oslo - curators Irija Øwre and Kristin Mannino, and Spacious Copenhagen - curator Annette Dam. The exhibition highlights both connections and contrasts, exploring how artists from three Nordic countries develop distinctive expressions and working methods while being part of a shared Nordic and global jewelry context. The exhibition is a travelling exhibition, starting in Stockholm, then Oslo and finally Copenhagen.
Platina Stockholm was established 1999 to provide an audience with the art of jewellery. Since the start, many artists have been invited to exhibit unique work in Stockholm. Within the space we have a gallery and studio. We cooperate with other institutions, galleries and museums with magic things such as exhibitions, popup events, experimental projects, lectures, education, seminars and more. During the years we have been working internationally with amazing artists and clients from all over the world.
Format Oslo was founded in 1991 and is the leading gallery for contemporary crafts and design in Norway. The gallery is an exhibition and sales venue of the finest artistic quality within ceramic, textile, metal, jewelry and glass. The gallery aims to strengthen the position of Norwegian contemporary craft internationally and through working with both established and emerging artists the gallery reflects the various tendencies in contemporary craft today. The gallery’s goal is to challenge established norms while highlighting key values in the field by actively bringing a wider spectrum of artistic practices in craft art to the fore.
Spacious Copenhagen is a nomadic exhibition platform focusing on contemporary art jewelry and holloware as well as collaborative exhibition projects with other arts, crafts and design creatives. The platform aims to question and actively extend the borders within the praxis of art jewelry and nurture collaborative culture. Previously, Spacious Copenhagen disseminated its projects and artists online and through pop-up exhibitions, reaching both an international and local audience. In 2026, it opened a physical space, marking a new chapter for the platform and providing a permanent setting for its projects, artists and collaborations.
